Pathway Project deliver services for domestic and sexual abuse victims and survivors, through refuge and outreach work. With work of such a specialised nature we had been keen to find an insurance policy that would meet all of our needs and that we could rely on in a crisis. Through Women’s Aid we found this bespoke policy which has been absolutely brilliant. The policy meets all of our needs from covering the refuges to Professional Indemnity insurance for our helpline and counselling service. We have everything in one policy. We hope not to need their help but on the two occasions when we have they have responded professionally, sensitively, and with the necessary speed to ensure that we deal with the problem quickly. We would recommend them to anyone running a similar service.
D E Ford were introduced to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice through HQP (Hospice Quality Partnership) on a transparent broker fee rather than our previous commission basis. It was great to work with a company that had a good knowledge of how hospices work and this gave us the reassurance that our needs were being met. D E Ford audited our current insurance cover and made suggestions where needed to cover gaps or improvements needed in our current cover. Not only were improvements made but we made savings equating to £11,520.07. On top of this as a HQP member we will benefit from a 5% rebate on property damage and business interruption, 5% rate reduction at next renewal as well as free access to an online Risk Management resource centre.
D E Ford were introduced to St Helena Hospice through HQP but I have worked with them for many years before that with another hospice. They really understand the hospice sector and are able to put together insurance cover that is needed rather a generic off the shelf solution. Their on-going support is first class and the turn round response time for queries is always rapid and provides effective and practical solutions.
